Stanford's Katie Ledecky lost an individual Olympic race for the first time on Sunday in one of the most anticipated duels at the Tokyo Aquatics Center. Australian sensation Ariane Titmus defeated Ledecky, considered the greatest women's freestyler in history, with an Olympic record time of 3 minutes 56.69. Ledecky was 0.67 of a second behind while swimming the second-fastest race of her life.
